More than 40 Samurdhi Development Officers of the Adalachchenai DS division attended a training programme on public relations & work discipline conducted by Transparency International Sri Lanka (TISL) recently.
The progarmme was conducted at the request of Adalachchenai District Secretary, M.M.Nazir.
Expressing his satisfaction on the training prorgamme, Mr Nazir requested TISL to facilitate more training sessions through the joint committee for the staff of District Secretariat.
So far TISL has trained more than 100 Divisional Secretary staff members on public relations and work discipline. This training programme was developed through the findings of the Citizen Report Card Survey conducted early this year.
Attorney-at-law Vijaya Kumar was the key resource person at the workshop. TISL’s Kausihan Sivalingam, Programme Coordinator for Ampara District and Dilshan Weerasinghe also participated.
