Sri Lanka has become the most corrupt Nation in the region under the rule of the Rajapaksa government, outdoing countries such as India, Pakistan and Bangladesh, Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremasinghe stated.
Speaking at the official launch of the UNP website, he said that the people have been those who have suffered the most from this tragic situation.
Ranil claimed that wastage, fraud and corruption is rampant in the country and those behind it need not be named as the public are already aware of who those people were.
He added that he was not sure as to how long the UNP website could be maintained while the web developers would not be named in fear of white van abductions.
