Senior Citizens requstTraining on Anti- Corruption

The working committee of the ‘ Samma’ Senior Citizens Committee in Anuradhapura requested Transparency International Sri Lanka (TISL) to conduct a workshop on corruption and its impact to the society for its members in the district.

They showed their enthusiasm in combating corruption to promote good governance in the area. They will take the message to the masses when their capacity is buit on anti- corruption initiatives.

This request was made when a team of TISL officials met them at a specially convened meeting of the organization. They are a part of an umbrella organization which has more than 600 elder citizens as members.

At the meeting TISL representatives informed the membership of what TISL dose and its mission and vision towards building a nation of integrity. They were given promotional material produced by TISL on anti-corruption initiatives.
