  • Contribute to conducting free and fair elections to safeguard Sri Lanka’s democratic principles?
  • Monitor misuse of public property and resources during pre-, during-, and post-election periods in your district?
  • Provide accurate and verified information to TISL regarding ongoing instances of public property misuse throughout the election phases?
  • Maintain regular contact with electoral observers to facilitate active engagement in data collection and accuracy verification?

  • Anuradhapura
  • Polonnaruwa

To be considered as a District Observer, you must:
  • Be a citizen of Sri Lanka
  • Be over 18 years of age
  • Demonstrate politically unbiased and neutral behavior in your professional conduct
  • Be a team player with good communication and coordination skills
  • (Being an independent journalist or an investigative journalist will be an added qualification)
  • Have a sound knowledge of the geographical area of the electoral divisions of your district
  • Possess skills in data analysis, reporting, and verification
