The Education Ministry Secretary Sunil S. Sirisena said they were planning to draft the new education bill by mid December this year.
“Currently the parliamentary consultative committee on education is accumulating various viewpoints of public interest groups so that the various suggestions can be amalgamated during the preparation of the new education bill. The committee is sifting through the suggestions and comments received are to be included in the new education bill.
