Parents express their concern over being forced to purchase ‘special school bags’, exercise books and several other items manufactured by certain government schools and sold at exorbitant prices by the school authorities.
The parents complained that certain government schools have manufactured exercise books with the school logo and are forcing the parents to purchase these books as well as the ‘special school bag’ at high prices. It was learnt that in some schools the students were made to buy specific brands of shoes as well.
