Golden Key Credit Card Company Directress, Padmini Karunanayake, was released on bail last Thursday.
Having deposited the bail of Rs.5 Million as ordered by the Supreme Court on October 21, she had signed documents, agreeing to the terms and conditions of the bail, before the Registrar of the Supreme Courts – Maheshi Jayasekera.
The Supreme Court ordered bail for both – Lalith Kothalawala and Padmini Karunanayake on the same day, October 21. The company’s chairman, Lalith Kothalawala had thereafter made his deposit and was released after four days.
The Supreme Court has decided to release the other Directors of Golden Key in Remand Custody once they make their appeals to court.
