Morawaka Magistrate Udesh Perera yesterday ordered the Terrorist Investigation Unit of the Police to refer the case against the three journalists of the weekly newspaper ‘Lanka’, who were accused trespass and taking photographs of a private residence, to the mediation Board.
He also ordered the TID to submit a report to Court from the Mediation Board on January 13.
The three accused media personnel were Daya Nettasinghe, Shalitha Wimalasena and Ravindra Pushpakumara.
The Court ordered police to return the cameras belonging to the journalists.
