This report highlights the activities of the “Consultative meeting” for Health Sector Trade Unions organised by Transparency International Sri Lanka(TISL) and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung(FES) in collaboration with Health Service Trade Union Alliance (HSTUA),Public Services United Nurses Union(PSUNU) and Confederation of Public Service Independent Trade Union (COPSITU).
The purpose of the meeting is to understand the type of influences that Trade Unions can promote in the Health Sector to enhance integrity.
Thirty Six members from Health Service Trade Union Alliance (HSTUA), Public Services United Nurses Union (PSUNU) and Confederation of Public Service Independent Trade Union (COPSITU) participated in the “Consultative meeting” held at Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, Colombo on 24th July 2008.
